About Me
My journey in athletics began at a young age with local rec soccer, basketball, and wrestling. Evolving interests led me to focus on soccer, lacrosse, and the exhilaration of running as part of my school's Track & Field and Cross Country teams. Opting to pursue running in college at the University of Minnesota Duluth, I weathered the highs and lows that fueled my passion for psychology and human performance.
This confluence of sport and psychology spurred my commitment to enhancing the experiences of athletes and performers alike. To me, practicing sport and performance psychology involves guiding individuals toward unlocking their optimal selves. My role is to delve beneath the surface and unveil internal motivations, thereby facilitating the growth process.
During my free time, you'll find me carving on my snowboard, engaging in outdoor activities with friends, hiking, camping, and navigating the trails on runs that challenge both my physical and mental limits. Currently, I am immersed in training for my third bodybuilding show, and I am hoping to follow that with another ultramarathon.
Thank you for taking the time to discover my journey!
My Approach
I believe we all possess a drive to pursue excellence and realize our full potential. However, the path to high performance is rarely straightforward. It demands a commitment to personal growth, the cultivation of specific mental skills, and a willingness to confront inevitable obstacles. As a mental performance consultant, my role is to serve as a resource for you through this journey using an evidence-based and empowering framework grounded in ongoing self-reflection, presence, values-driven action, and purposefully set goals.
