My Approach
I believe in the innate desire we all share to reach our highest potential in our chosen pursuits. However, achieving this often requires guidance and the development of specific skills, a journey that can be challenging to navigate alone. My role is to serve as a resource, helping you discover your prime performance state through continual reflection, a present-moment focus, values-based actions, and clear goals.
About Me
My journey in athletics commenced at a young age with local rec soccer, basketball, and wrestling. Evolving interests led me to focus on soccer, lacrosse, and the exhilaration of running as part of my school's Track & Field and Cross Country teams. Opting to pursue running in college at the University of Minnesota Duluth, I weathered the highs and lows that fueled my passion for psychology and human performance.
This confluence of sports and psychology spurred my commitment to enhancing the experiences of athletes and performers. To me, sport and performance psychology involve guiding individuals toward unlocking their optimal selves. Whether starting at different points or grappling with diverse challenges, my role as a mental performance consultant is to delve beneath the surface and unveil internal motivations, thereby facilitating the growth process.
As the number of performers in various domains continues to rise, so does the collective desire to gain a competitive edge. What captivates me most about the field of sport and performance psychology is the unexplored terrain awaiting discovery. This fervor propels me to work with performers and delve into research areas such as the psychology of injury, performance enhancement, and athlete mental health.
During my free time, you'll find me carving on my snowboard, engaging in outdoor activities with friends, hiking, camping, and navigating the trails on runs that challenge both my physical and mental limits. Currently, I am immersed in training for my second bodybuilding show. Thank you for taking the time to discover my journey!
